DIY Miniature Garden Shop Dollhouse

Everyone has dreams, big ones and little ones. I’m not sure I really ever want to own a store in real life, but it’s a dream my husband and I have tossed around for years. Today, I’m welcoming you to a miniature version of my little vintage garden shop dream. I want to thank Miniatures.com for sponsoring this project, all ideas and opinions are my own.

If we ever owned a store it would look a little something like this. An old building with lots of rustic brick. Shaker shingles are a must and rusty tin never hurt my feelings.

My favorite color patterns of black, white and green. Especially the bold floral wallpaper.

Of course there would be a working garden, filled with pretty and edible delights.

Cozy places to sit with friends and have coffee. You would want to linger for hours.

If it was the fall you’d sit outside next to the lush forest and listen to the water fountain trickle a lullaby.

Or maybe you’d bring the kids for a picnic lunch in the pretty gardens.

My kids would be over swinging on the hammock instead of doing the chores they are supposed to be doing. And I’d smile.

Little gnome faces would great you at every turn. Like friendly little garden shop mascots.

And the store? Well it would be filled with things old and new. All the things you need for your garden to grow.

Somethings you’d want just because they were awesome.

Old architectural pieces you’d take home and nestle in your beloved space. People might even say, “I do” there.

The casings and displays would be vintage for sure.

It would feel warm and dreamy and I would love to be there all day long. Making this miniature version gave me all the feels and dreams of a little vintage garden shop. Then my cat busted in a brought me back to reality. Oh well, it’s fun to dream right?

Tools I used for Miniature Garden Shop:
