Dream Big DIY Eye Mask
You might have seen pictures from my recent trip to Round Top with a fabulous group of ladies. We held a mastermind meeting there and as a small party favor my mom helped me make these adorable DIY eye masks. I love to give little presents, there is nothing better than a grown up goody bag. Each lady got a cute eye mask and pillow case with Dream Big plastered on them, because we should all dream big in my opinion! 
If you are having a girl’s weekend, shower or birthday party these would make great gifts for the ladies in your life. They are perfect stocking stuffers for the the travelers on your list too! The idea of this weekend was born from my desire to learn. My desire to grow and gather knowledge form those a few steps ahead of me. It’s good not to be the smartest one in the room when it comes to dreaming. Trust me, you will never regret surrounding yourself with women who know more than you and soaking up every ounce of what they have to pour out. Please hear me. Reach out, invite others in, even when you feel you have nothing to offer, because you do. You have so much more to offer than you give yourself credit for!

DIY Eye Mask Instructions
- Use pattern to cut 1 pattern from drop cloth and 1 pattern from backing.
- Cut rectangle piece of fleece a little larger than your pattern.
- Cut 1 strip of drop cloth 1 ½” x 24” . Fold this lengthwise and sew ¼” seam. Turn right side out. With small safety pin, thread elastic through this tube. Pin elastic to each end of fabric to hold in place until sewn to mask.
- Next layer your pieces as follows – fleece, backing (right side up), then pin elastic to sides and next drop cloth (right side down).
- Sew ¼” seam around mask leaving opening at the top as shown in photo.
- Trim fleece and clip seams. (look how cute my friend Amy from Living Locurto Blog looks traveling in hers!)
- Turn right side out.
- Fold in opening on top and top stitch all around mask
- If you want to decorate the outside you can use your Cricut or Silhouette to cut Dream Big and iron onto the eye mask. I used a font called Hatterline for this project.
