For an easy five minute makeover, I simply took one fence picket and turned it into a special piece to fill a small space with big impact. 1 Thessalonians 5:11 Therefore encourage one another and build each other up. Five minute farmhouse flower vase. www.huntandhost.net

It only takes these supplies, plus some fresh flowers or greenery. You will also need a picture hanger and a drill. Add fresh farmhouse décor with this five minute farmhouse project. Start by scooping up some stainless steel clamps at your local hardware store. You’ll find them in the plumbing department in a variety of sizes. Go ahead and attach a picture hanger on the back side of the fence picket.

Flip over and space out the bands to your liking, screw into place. You will want to use a drill to screw in between the slots on the metal band…it’s too hard to drill directly through the metal.Add fresh farmhouse décor with this five minute farmhouse project. I acutally made this for my friend that gave me the pickets in the first place. I will always look at them and think of her…and I want her to know she is thought of. I also made these bible verse blocks for her kiddos out of the same pile!

  1. I absolutely adore this project!! There are boxes and boxes of unused test tubes in storage at school and using a few for a project like this is such a good idea. In fact, if I can find a few fence pickets before school is out, I’m making one of these for my principal and assistant principal. I know that they will love it

  2. This is just the best idea – I can’t believe how quick and easy it. I love the contrast against the dark paint! This would be a great gift for teachers. I’ve got some salvaged barn wood and I just might give it a try with that! Thanks for the inspiration!
