Y’all know I love a mix of old and new! These vintage Easter decor ideas for your living room and dining room are sure to inspire – because they are SIMPLE for you to re-create with things you have on hand! Honestly, I did minimal shopping outside of the house this year, I shopped my stash of goods and made it all work. Here is some Easter decor inspo for ya!
It took me FOREVER to muster up the energy to decorate for spring and pull the house back together after the holidays. Not sure why, because I had a blast bringing a fresh feel to the house. It always inspires me and I often find myself smiling, even when no one is around! I snapped some pictures of vignettes around the living room and dining room for you to check out. Honestly, all I did was swap things out from the leftover Christmas decor! I did get out and thrift a little, which always gets my creative juices flowing. I found this fun afghan for $5 and I think the pink is sweet and perfect for spring.
I used a ton of fresh Boxwood and Pine branches for Christmas and for Easter, I threw out the Pine and let the Boxwood steal the show. I love Boxwood because they dry beautifully and you can use it for a super long time in your decor. They stay so sweet and pretty! The mantel literally just got a minor decor change!

The buffet got the biggest makeover with some of my favorite Easter decorations I’ve had for years. I used a lot of glass items this spring, they just felt light and airy and that felt right for me!
Go with whatever sets the mood for you – or whatever you have on hand! What do you collect or have hidden away in your cabinets? Bring it out, prop it up, mix it in. You’ve got this friend.
You’ll notice if you look closely, not a ton of my decor is actually holiday-specific. That’s the best way to stretch your decor stash. Create a color palette and feel for your home and stick to it. Buy base pieces and items that fit your palette and they will always work with what you have!
Glass, wood, green, brown, white, black, silver, baskets, and neutral fabrics – those are the staples I can’t stay away from! Make a list for yourself and thrift for those items, stay true to it.
Make layers – layers and layers bring a cozy curated feel to your home.
And make sure you mix in something everyone in your home loves. Our homes are not museums, they are our life on display.
Most of all, enjoy this Easter season and spend more time focusing on WHY we celebrate than how your house is decorated. Jesus paid it all for us and I am so grateful for his beautiful life on Earth. Easter blessings to you and yours!
