We just bought a brand new builder house this summer when we moved. We relocated for my husband's job and our house sold quickly (thank you God!). That was great, but we had to pick a new house pretty quick in return. We like our house, but really wanted to make some changes so we would LOVE it! The kitchen is the main makeover we are implementing. It may seem odd to renovate a new house, but we have moved enough to know it is SO MUCH BETTER to get things how you like them on the front end of ... continue reading...

Cheap Drop Leaf Table Makeover
This cheap drop leaf table got a gorgeous French country makeover for our dining room! When we moved this summer I took it as a chance to re-do our dining room. I loved our old table but I was really ready for an update so I sold it before the move. I'm not thinking this new Facebook Marketplace find is going to be a family heirloom, but for $40 it fills the spot until my dream table comes along. Whatever that is! I'm not really sure yet! You can find some great deals on Facebook Marketplace ... continue reading...
The Cutest Farmhouse Classroom You Ever Saw
Are you ready to see the cutest farmhouse classroom ever? Let me back up and explain. We just moved to a new town this summer, we didn't know a soul and have extremely little knowledge of the school system, teachers, etc. We didn't even know who my son's third-grade teacher was until we walked in the door of the school for Meet the Teacher night a few days before school started. Imagine our surprise when we learned Sadler's new teacher was named Hank (my other son's name) and he had the most ... continue reading...

Casual Vintage Living Room Mood Board You might be wondering why should I use a mood board? or what is a mood board? Let me share a little insight I've learned as I have decorated my own home over the years. I'm by no means an Interior Decorator, but I obviously LOVE to decorate my house with my style and aesthetic. Over time I've figured a few things out. The first thing I've learned is that a great space takes time. At least for me. All these TV shows that throw together great spaces ... continue reading...
Outdated Terra Cotta Pot to French Country Classic
learn how to update an orangey outdated terra cotta pot with a French country classic look. There are about a million "important" projects waiting to be done around the new house, but sometimes you have to tackle the ones that are driving you the craziest first - even if they don't really fit in a normal priority order. An outdated terra cotta pot makeover is certainly not more important than getting seats at my dining room table, but I drive up every day and look at this eyesore. These ... continue reading...
