Bud vase roundup

All the gorgeous flowers lining the highways and byways has me all excited about putting fresh flowers all over my home. Maybe you saw my first flower gathering and unique bud vase in my Round Top Recap or  Bullets to Beautiful post. It is all I can do to keep my eyes on the road. I really want to pull over everywhere. My people are not as amused as I am. My garden is overproducing Blackberries. I’m thinking of having my own Farmer’s Market. That is if the rain would stop.

I am also loving Hometalk, not sure if you have checked it out yet. It is like a mix between Pinterest and Bloglovin. You get more than a picture and can search for projects and inspiration, follow people you love and post your own stuff. I put together a board full of bud vase ideas to inspire you to get the fresh going in your home. So head over and check out Hometalk (you can follow me there as I clip away) and some creative bud vase ideas. Let me know what you put together!

Remember, when you want to fill all the pretty vases you make from your Hometalk inspirations, you don’t have to buy a single stem. Check out the pictures I caught of the local blooming beauties. Plus some baby news!!! No! I’m not having a baby! But …my little baseball glove bird nest I showed you here. Well mama didn’t abandon ship, she had FOUR baby birds. I was like the bird paparazzi. Slightly obsessed. I have a few pictures…they grew fast and were gone in no time. Glad my nest won’t be empty that quickly!

Meet Mama. She stays real still for as long as she can stand it. Then she swooshes out of the nest.

Four babies in that ugly awkward stage. We’ve all been there.

In no time they have fuzzy little feathers and then POOF, they are gone. Just like people babies.

  2. We made a quick trip three hours east of here on Saturday and I felt like I was on repeat, “oh my goodness, did you see those flowers”, “hey look at those flowers!” – I just couldn’t get enough!
