Party season has started and in case you find yourself headed to dinner at a friend’s house why not bring them a special gift…you don’t have to tell that it’s from the dollar store, they will never know! You can also check out some great dollar store hosting ideas from my friends!
A bottle of wine or dessert are always great to bring for a hostess gift, but why not give something personal that will last beyond your get together. I love anything monogrammed and a personal gift is one of the best things to give or receive! I found these dinner plate chargers at the 99¢ Store, they are a gorgeous deep chocolate brown with a touch of sparkle, perfect for fall.
We will be having dinner with friends soon and I thought personalizing these for my friend and her family of four would be a great gift to share.
Using my Cricut and gold foil adhesive I cut my friend and her husband’s personal monogram and centered it on the middle of the chargers. You could change this up by writing a special word or holiday saying on the charger. I was going to paint the monogram with a stencil, but I didn’t have the best paint, maybe next time!
Wrap your monogramed plate chargers with ribbon and a little Rosemary for delivery! You may just want to make some for yourself while you’re at it! Now go take a peek at these cute hostess ideas:

Kim, I got an email asking what I would like to see for autumn decorating. I couldn’t find a comment or reply button there, so I’m commenting here. I need ideas for decorating a basic white lantern. I live in Mesquite, TX, so we are still having 100 degree days. But we have a new Michael ‘s and a great Hobby Lobby, so I could probably find any supplies I need, or find it at Walmart or on Amazon. I love all the ideas you and your partners post, and the way you share how you use them in your own homes. And I really appreciate the Scripture signs every month and seeing how you use them. HI Jewell, I would probably add a small amount of greenery with a cute little bow to the top and then fill the lantern with a candle, pumpkins or even acorns form the yard! I hope this helps!!!

Won’t the stickers come off when she washes them?
The monogram is cut from high adhesive vinyl, so they don’t just wash off. They don’t hold up all the time in the dishwasher if you wash them a lot, but they are great if you just hand wash, which is all I think you would do with chargers anyway! They are super sturdy!!!
