Ladies. Let me introduce you to one of my best friends. She’s a beauty. Meet Pampas Grass. Y’all need to get acquainted while I show you this DIY Pampas Grass wreath tutorial. I just know you’ll be besties. 

When I was a little girl there was a giant Pampas Grass Shrub next to our house. The big fluffy plumes always whispered to me and the big bold grass was so attractive to me. Even though those slender blades of grass where like tiny razors I was drawn to it. Little did I know how fast of friends we would become later in life. 

Something about the the soft feathery plumes blowing in the breeze is mesmerizing to me and having Pampas Grass in my fall home decor is a treat I look forward to each year. Big, bold statement pieces. That’s what these ladies are.

And I love a bold girlfriend who isn’t afraid to be herself. 

Watch the video in this post and get a quick tutorial on how you can create a Pampas Grass Plume wreath for yourself. Truthfully any grass shrub plume will do – they are all showing off their magnificent flowers this time of year. You can find these while out on a walk, in your yard, your neighbors yard or even business parking lots! Don’t be shy – go ask if you can clip a few pieces to take home. These shrubs are so prolific I don’t think anyone will mind or miss a few clippings.

This beloved Papas Grass wreath is front and center in our living room, sitting quietly by, taking it all in. She is a perfect little lady and welcome to return year after year. I know you’ll feel the same. 😉
